Véronique Courtois

Founder and President of CASQUE D’OR FILMS, Veronique Courtois is a dual citizen of France and the United States. She graduated from the Sorbonne in Paris. She taught French Language, Culture and Cinema for 15 years at several prestigious universities and colleges in Boston. At the time, she co-programmed several Gay & Lesbian Film Festivals as well as French Film Festivals at the Museum of Fine Arts. After studying Film Marketing and Distribution at UCLA and several internships (United Artists, etc), she joined Strand Releasing where she worked for four years as the Manager of Acquisitions and Festival Liaison.
Besides running her distribution company for the past 6 years (CASQUE D’OR FILMS), she has been collaborating on several original screenplays based on her ideas and film productions in Latin America, France, Spain and the US.
Her first animated short entitled A DAY AT THE BEACH got selected in more than 50 festivals (LGBT and mainstream) worldwide. Pro-Fun Media licenced the German-speaking rights and Optimale (We & Co) bought the French-speaking rights.
